Vishal Dadlani, Gul Panag got angry at Kejri's 'Lakshmi-Ganesh' comment!

Arvind Kejriwal has recently demanded to have pictures of Lakshmi and Ganesha on Indian currency notes.  He demanded, for the time being, the note with Mahatma Gandhi's picture should be kept aside.  On the other hand, notes should be printed with images of Lakshmi and Ganesha in India.  Then the Indian economy will be strengthened.  During the Diwali prayers, Kejri claimed that if Indian currency notes have images of Lakshmi and Ganesha, the Indian economy will be boosted.  Kejri also said that he will soon write a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi with this request.  Kejri said that he is not demanding to cancel all old notes.  Instead, it is proposing to print new notes with pictures of Lakshmi and Ganesha.

What's the story?

Music director Vishal Dadlani, known as a supporter of Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal, sings 'Another Tune'.  Recently Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party National Convener Arvind Kejriwal requested to print the image of Lakshmi-Ganesh on Indian currency notes.  In view of that request, the music director gave a strong response.  In a tweet without naming anyone, Vishal wrote, "The constitution of India clearly states that we are a secular socialist republic.  So religion should have no place in the administration.  I want to say clearly, I have nothing to do with those who bring religion into any work of the government.  Jai Hind.'

Meanwhile, actor Gul Panag, who was once a candidate for the Aam Aadmi Party ticket, also opened up about this.  "Whether it's a means to an end or an end in itself - religion is brought into everything," she tweeted.  Now everyone will play with it.  And only politicians will do this, not like that!  Those who disagree can invoke the Constitution in vain.'

What's next?

The Chief Minister of Delhi claimed that 85 percent of the people of Indonesia are Muslims.  Hindus make up less than two percent of the total population in Indonesia.  Still, there is a Ganesha image on Indonesian notes.  Kejri said, 'If Indonesia can do it, then we can do it too.  If Indonesia can use Ganeshaji's image, then no one should object if they do that here.'
